Salon Invi Unveils on Chestnut Street
Salon Invi celebrates great hair and a grand opening.
The latest in ultra modern hair salons combined with luxuries like the Apple I-Pad characterized the opening of a new salon in downtown Andover. This past Saturday, Salon Invi, hosted its grand opening celebration and officially unveiled the business to the public.
The metropolitan chic space, located at 28 Chestnut Street, buzzed with stylists, clients and local business owners who gathered to welcome Salon Invi to downtown Andover. Salon owner, Christopher Kishfy, and his charming staff proudly greeted guests as they entertained with a “Taste of Tuscany” wine tasting and food demonstration.
Italian style delicacies were prepared and passed on site by the team of professionals fromKeon’s 105 Bistro of the Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown. Complementary wines were made available by Boston’s Best Bartenders and music filled the room with live vocals from the very talented Dan Sky of Haverhill. It was an elegant evening that set the stage for a promising future.
Salon Invi specializes exclusively on hair. Led by Christopher Kishfy, a 15-year-plus industry veteran, the team of five stylists is dedicated to producing beautiful and fashion forward hair styles accompanied by a warm and comfortable environment.
In addition to the friendly and easy-going style of the staff, the salon itself has been designed with the client’s comfort and convenience in mind. The crisp and clean space is exceptionally inviting and has been thoughtfully equipped with many extras to create the ultimate client experience.
Wash stations pamper clients with soothing massage chairs and tilting sinks provide the most comfortable seating position. Forty-two inch flat screen televisions have been installed for the customer’s viewing pleasure. Most interestingly, the salon offers guests the use of Apple iPads to pass the time while they process color or sit under a dryer.
Kishfy’s goal in opening Salon Invi was to fuse sophistication with an intimate, personal feel. Incorporating technology into the salon seemed a natural progression for an Andover salon where busy clients wish to keep pace with the world outside the salon doors.
“I wanted to make sure that we were compatible with the new and upcoming salons that are out there in New York and LA,” Kishfy said, “And we wanted to bring something fun and creative to the space with the Apple iPads.”
The high-tech luxuries offered at Salon Invi are surpassed only by the down to earth style and skilled techniques of the stylists. With specialized experience in Goldwell color, So Cap extensions and Brazilian Blowouts, a trip to Salon Invi will afford any client the latest in hair trends and a fabulous look.
Jody Turin recently moved to Andover and discovered her stylist, Kristin Messina and Salon Invi.
“I love this place.” Turin said, “My overall experience has been wonderful…great customer service, very friendly people and Kristin does a beautiful job on my hair.”
