Trending Hair Color Options for the Upcoming Fall Season
As with fashion, hair styles and colors also change during each season. If you’re wanting a stylish new look, here are some of the newest hair coloring options that are trending this fall.
Silver and Gray
Going gray is no longer taboo, as a number of people are now choosing to color their hair one of the many shades of silver or gray. Solid gray may be a better choice if you prefer to have your hair all one color, and are going for a more professional look. On the other hand, silver might be an ideal option if you would also like to add strands of pale blue, pink or violet to your locks.
Bronde
If you can’t seem to choose between being a blonde or becoming a brunette, bronde hair coloring can give you the best of both worlds. Think of bronde as being a light brown shade that contains blonde highlights, leaving a color that could be considered either blonde or brunette. This is a very popular color for fall, because it contains elements of the warmer shades that are often popular during the cooler months, along with lighter tones that are reminiscent of summer.
Babylights
Not all highlights have to result in a drastic change in the way your hair looks. Babylights involve taking small sections of hair, and then adding very fine highlights to create a natural look. Babylights are an excellent choice if you aren’t looking for a dramatic change, or would like to try out a certain color of highlights before adding more noticeable ones to your hair.
Rose Gold
Red hair coloring is always popular in fall; however, this year, it comes with a twist. More people than ever are choosing rose gold hair, which consists of a combination of copper, red, and blonde. Rose gold has a slightly more vibrant appearance than natural red hair, yet is much tamer than the flamboyant shades of red or pink that many people choose. As such, it is perfect for someone who wishes to stand out, yet not appear overly outlandish.
Sombre aka “Subtle Ombre”
Ombre hair is gradually shaded, containing darker roots that become lighter toward the ends. In the past, many people elected to have hair that was drastically lighter or darker in certain areas; however, the current trend is toward a gradual lightening of the hair that makes it appear more natural. There is also less difference in shades between the lighter and darker tones, so rather than containing dark brown and platinum blonde, hair coloring may consist of medium brown at the top, followed by gradual transition into light brown mid-shafts and then to subtle blonde at ends. Due to the gradual changes in color, the sombre look is best suited for those with longer hair.
The latest trends offer many new choices when it comes to experimenting with color. This upcoming fall season may be the perfect time to enjoy a fresh new look.
