Hair Extensions: General Information
Hair extensions can be used to add volume, length, and highlights to your existing hair – without the use of hair color or other chemicals. This is a great service for individuals who:
- Don’t want to use hair color or chemical treatments to alter their hair, but still wish for a change
- Fine or limp hair
- Hair which grows slowly
- Anyone who would like a semi-temporary alteration to their natural appearance
We use only the very best extensions at our salon, all of which are made from 100% human hair for the most natural appearance. The brand our salon makes use of is Great Lengths extensions.
Great Lengths Extensions
Great Lengths Extensions was founded in London over 15 years ago. They are a revolutionary company which patented a molecular bonding method that creates durable, healthy 100% authentic hair extensions.
What To Expect
Hair extensions will be strategically placed to add volume, length, or highlights as you choose. Your stylist will work with you to decide how many individual extensions are necessary, as well as the best placement for them.
The cost of hair extensions varies greatly, and can be discussed with you upon request. The more extensions necessary to achieve your desired results, the higher the cost will be. Other things which may affect your final price are the length, width, thickness, and exact type of hair extensions used. If you are working within a specified budget, please be sure to speak with your stylist about this. They can help you plan a look to fit your needs within a realistic budget.
For the most part, professional extensions can be treated and maintained like your natural hair. You can wash, condition, and brush them as you normally would your real mane. Your stylist can discuss with you any special care needs (if there are any) prior to beginning the service.
Please remember to leave an appropriate amount of time in your schedule to have your hair extensions placed. To do their best job, our stylists need an adequate amount of time without being rushed.
